QUEER TANGO is a movement to encourage exploration of lead/follow roles regardless of gender or sexual orientation, at times even switching roles mid-dance. It offers an inclusive platform for LGBTQ individuals as well as a unique opportunity for anyone to grow and develop their dance from all angles and with fewer parameters.

ARGENTINE TANGO is an improvised social dance which emerged out of Buenos Aires near the end of the 19th century. Though the style is popular internationally and continues to evolve, its language and essence is noticeable through its distinctly emotive and varied music, close embrace, and subtle communication style which can create a deeply connected, enjoyable, & expressive dance. Ann Arbor is known for its strong tango community.
