Being In the Woods

I guess if you aren't out of the woods... you might as well enjoy being in the woods? This year was a bit of a roller coaster. The covid fears have receded a bit, both for us as a family and for those sharing the taproom as a community space. This has meant that we've gotten to see more of you this year, and more often, which makes us swoon. We've watched board game night and trivia fill the house. We've seen yoga come back on cozy Sunday afternoons. We've seen movie nights on the projector and comedy shows, workshops, tastings, fundraisers. We've gotten to celebrate private events with you - weddings, showers, receptions, birthdays, first dates -- hell, even first dates here that led to weddings here.

We've also worried about finances, wrung our hands over the looming construction project and what it would mean for our future. We've watched farmers and vendors go through their own ups and downs. We've watched long-time Bløm teammates graduate, move, get hitched, start families, making them promise to visit anytime they're back. We've personally kept up a demanding and never-ending juggle to make sure our taproom is open every day, while also showing up for friends and family in the ways that are so important to us.

It is a privilege to do this work, to share in these joys and to have these be our worries. Our hearts are full of gratitude that you support us and allow us to do this work everyday. Here's to you and yours - cheers, friends.
